I’m preparing my dinning room for a lovely Easter dinner with spring decor!
I also picked up chalk paint from Michaels and plastic eggs from Dollar Tree. Then I painted the eggs a pastel green, purple and gold to match the flowers.
For the centerpiece, I started with my homemade Pier 1 inspired vase and added tulips at the base. I bent the tulips downward then added the two purple rose bouquets. I then moved a few tulip heads in between the bouquets to finish off the arrangement.
I placed some greenery around the base of the centerpiece along with the colored chalk painted eggs.
For my place settings, I layered gold rim charger plates, a green dinner plates and gold salad plates. Then I toped each plate with fancy folded (fleur-de-lis) napkins. Tucked in each napkin was little yellow flowers cut from the greenery around the centerpiece.
The rich colors of the spring flower and plates with the light pastel colored eggs will make a warm and elegant Easter gathering!
